The Motorcycle Action Group (MAG) is thrilled to herald International Ride To Work Day 2025, set for Tuesday, 10 June. MAG urges riders across the UK to take to the roads and showcase the transformative power of two wheels. On motorways and strategic roads, “Look Out For Bikes” messages will light up matrix signs nationwide, reminding drivers to share the road and consider the smarter, stress-free choice of motorcycling.

As the Government develops its Integrated National Transport Strategy (INTS), MAG’s theme of “Integrate” underscores the vital role of mopeds, scooters, and motorcycles in a sustainable transport future. With Britain’s roads gridlocked and emissions targets pressing, motorcycles offer a proven solution: slashing congestion, cutting emissions, and providing affordable, efficient travel for urban and rural communities. MAG’s submission to the INTS call for ideas outlines how two wheels can reshape transport, and on 10 June riders will bring this vision to life.
“Ride To Work Day is more than an event—it’s a statement,” says Colin Brown, MAG’s Director of Campaigns & Political Engagement. “While drivers sit in queues, motorcyclists zip to work, stress-free and on time. We invite those stuck in traffic: why not join us on two wheels?”
Riders are called to action: commute, share your journey with #RideToWork2025, and demonstrate why motorcycling must be central to the UK’s transport mix. From scooters dodging city jams to motorcycles cruising the Strategic Road Network, two wheels mean more road space, lower costs, and a lighter environmental footprint. Media, councils, and policymakers are invited to witness the impact – and to join the ride. Visit www.ride-to-work-day.mag-uk.org/ for details and to plan your route.
Colin adds: “Motorcycles are a solution, not a sideline. On 10 June, we’ll show the nation how two wheels tackle congestion, empower communities, and deliver choice.”
