As 20mph limits are to be imposed on 1,700 streets in the Wirral, Colin Brown talks to MAG member Elaine Velho about opposition to the scheme and why as a recognised stakeholder, MAG were not consulted.
On the 9th of October Wirral MAG organised a demo starting in New Brighton and finishing at Birkenhead Town Hall to coincide with the Wirral Council meeting. Approximately 40 members of the Motorcycle Action group attended challenged the council on the roll out of the 20mph limits and why it was going ahead with 67% of respondents being against the new limits.
